Frequently asked questions

What is OnBump?

OnBump is a business networking app that lets you exchange contact details, keep the context of every encounter, schedule follow-ups and track how each professional relationship evolves.

What is OnBump for?

OnBump makes sure you never lose the people you meet at afterworks, trade shows, conferences or any professional event: every encounter keeps its context, and the app reminds you who to follow up with and why.

Does OnBump replace LinkedIn?

No. LinkedIn is where you build an online professional network. OnBump focuses on the in-person encounter, its context and what happens next: the memory, the follow-up and the relationship.

Is OnBump a digital business card?

OnBump includes a digital business card and a personal QR code, but goes further: unlike a simple digital business card, OnBump keeps the context of each meeting, your notes and your follow-ups — like a personal CRM for networking.

Do both people need OnBump?

No. Bump works between two OnBump users, but your QR code and public card work with everyone: the person you meet can leave you their details from their browser, without installing the app.

Does OnBump work outside of events?

Yes. A professional encounter can happen at an event, a coffee shop, a trade show, a coworking space or anywhere else — OnBump records the context wherever you meet.

What does an event organizer get with OnBump?

Organizers help their attendees get more out of their encounters and can track aggregated indicators such as adoption, recorded meetings and outcomes reported after the event.

Can the organizer see my private notes?

No. Memories, personal notes and private relationship details stay private. Organizers only see aggregated indicators, never the content of your encounters.

Is OnBump free?

Yes. OnBump is free, during the beta and after: the app is freemium. The essentials — exchanging contacts, keeping memories, scheduling follow-ups — stay free; some advanced features (AI, advanced CRM, visibility) are part of the Premium tier.

Which platforms is OnBump available on?

OnBump is available on iPhone via the App Store. The Android version is in closed testing: you can join the testers from the Beta page.
